Cipa has had the entrustment of the extraordinary maintenance of the Roreto Tunnel, A33 Asti-Cuneo motorway and, specifically, has contracted the execution of hydro-washing, hydro-scarification and hydro-demolition works of the cap and the piers of the aforesaid Tunnel, with related rehabilitations through the laying of stainless steel electro-welded nets and thixotropic mortars. In addition, there are activities of sealing of lesions that cause water coming in through injections of a mixture of acrylic resin and mineral organ, and conveyance of water from the joints of the segments through calendered corrugated sheets, also in stainless steel, which end on the redirective profiles placed on the sides of the tunnel. Waters are collected in a stainless steel channel of 3 mm laid on the redirective profiles and discharged through various descents embedded in the same up to discharge into the collection manholes placed under the road platform. The contract also provides for the laying of gabions and the remodeling of the embankments as well as the arrangement and restoration of a water drainage channel located outside above the tunnels.
