STORSTROM BRIDGE
The new Storstrom bridge will be 6.5 km long and 24 m wide, and will house a two-lane road, a double rail track for high-speed trains and a common path for pedestrians and cyclists. Once completed, with completion scheduled in 2025, the new Storstrom bridge will be the third longest bridge in Denmark. The new bridge will connect the islands of Zealand and Falster in the Baltic Sea. It will replace the old easternmost bridge, which dates back to 1937 and is no longer able to withstand the current traffic. The old bridge will later be demolished. Cipa Dk was the executor, for the first phase of the entire construction site area for the project, of both concrete and prefabricated works of various buildings. While in the second phase, it was called for the execution of foundations and elevations for the lower pier of the main bridge.
